Pour rajouter une e-build dans l'arbre de portage :

créez le répertoire /usr/local/portage
ajoutez dans le fichier "make.conf" ceci : PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage"
créer dans le répertoire /usr/local/portage un sous-répertoire pour la catégorie, par exemple games-misc si vous choisissez fortune-mod-french-0.02
puis encore un sous-répertoire au nom de l'ebuild (sans le numéro de version) par exemple fortune-mod-french
copiez ou téléchargez l'ebuild dans ce nouveau répertoire (et si nécessaire les autres fichiers dans un sous-répertoire files)
tapez maintenant ebuild lenomdelebuild.ebuild manifest, par exemple : ebuild fortune-mod-french-0.02.ebuild manifest

L'ebuild est alors rajouté dans l'arbre de portage.

Vous pouvez aussi utiliser layman : emerge layman puis layman -a holgersson-overlay

Pour Paludis utilisez ce rsync : rsync://gentoo.zugaina.org/holgersson-overlay-portage

En cas de problèmes : ycarus(-at-)zugaina.org
